We Love Doing Special Projects From Grandparents To Grandchildren
Recently, we had the opportunity to frame a treasured cross-stitch pattern for a grandma to give to her new grandbaby.
She had stitched it in 1991 for her daughter’s room.
Now it was time for that piece to get new life in a modern nursery, for her brand new grandchild who is due in August.
But first, it needed a little TLC
Since it was almost three decades old, we wanted to make sure it sparkled like the day it was first completed before we gave it to the new baby. We carefully and soaked and cleaned the art to restore it to it’s original color, and allowed the alphabet colors to come back to life. Then it got a new home in a classic black wood frame from Framerica.
At Frame Minnesota, we have very specific expertise in framing cross-stitch and other needlepoint pieces—which we know take so much time and craftsmanship from the person who stitches it. It takes special care and a gentle touch—and because we are artists ourselves, we know how to handle handcrafted needle arts. We treat each piece with love and an artist’s touch—and then put it in a frame to make it into a showpiece for your wall.
We would love to help make one of your family heirlooms into an even more special work of art. Call us today for a personal appointment!
