Congratulations to Shelby!
Frame Minnesota’s head framer, Shelby Studanski, is Minnesota’s Retail Employee of the Year, and she tells us about how great it is to be able to use her artistic talents to help customers!
Here is the transcript of the Video:
Shelby Studanski: My name is Shelby. I’m a custom picture framer over at Frame Minnesota. I’ve been working here about four, four, and a half years now. I applied because I am an artist.
I have a degree in studio arts. And I wanted to be somewhere where I could work with art all day. I really enjoy this job because it involves both customer service, being upfront selling things to the customer, uncovering their needs, as well as the craft.
My favorite thing to do here is probably the really unique kind of weird projects. So things that you need to think outside of the box for.
My boss, Tami, has been very good at showing me the different facets of a small business and helping me learn along the way. It’s very creatively fulfilling.
