Tammy: Hi, it’s Tammy with Frame Minnesota in Eagan, Minnesota, where we frame lots of jerseys for customers. Today, Thomas’s here to pick up his Green Bay Packers project and I’ll let him tell you a little bit about it.
Thomas: Well, the Packers have always been a big part of my family. My dad’s a Packers fan, my grandpa’s a Packers fan. I was born the year that Favre won the Super Bowl and my dad was born the year that Bart Starr won the Super Bowl, so we’ve got a lot of ties. My grandpa actually had the opportunity to golf with Brett Favre back in 93.
He won the opportunity with his company, so they did a round of golf, and they kind of hit it off. And at the end, my grandpa asked Brett Favre for a signed photo and he said, “I don’t have any signed photos with me, but how about you give me your address and I’ll mail you a photo.”
And a couple of weeks later, Brett Favre had sent him this signed Jersey, as well as a note saying how much he enjoyed playing golf with him. So over the years, I’ve been able to acquire a Bart Starr jersey as well, who recently passed away. As well as the legendary Aaron Rogers, who’s currently holding down the fort.
So I felt like it was best to find a framing that really was able to show the history of the Packers and show them off in the way that they deserve to be shown.
